Transport Workers Union Reaches Tentative Agreement with Envoy Airlines
Deal Covers Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and Related Workers

Dallas, TX – The Transport Workers Union of America, AFL-CIO, representing the AMT and Related work group at Envoy Airlines—a subsidiary of American Airlines—announced today that it has reached a tentative agreement with the company. The agreement clarifies contract language and secures improvements in several contract articles, including compensation, personal days off and holiday pay.

Washington, D.C., August 5, 2016 –The TWU-IAM Joint Association today announced it has reached an interim agreement with American Airlines to provide approximately 30,000 ground workers industry-leading wage rates, a lump sum payment and retirement improvements. Both sides will continue joint contract negotiations to resolve outstanding issues.
