The New Media Department of the Transport Workers Union offers a wide range services to TWU Locals including: graphic design, print production, and video.  In addition, the New Media Department utilizes various social media tools to continually provide the membership with updated information.

The rise of the Internet and social media has increased communication between people all over the world and the Internet.  It has allowed people to express themselves through blogs, websites, pictures, and other user-generated media.  Interactivity in content delivery has evolved from the rapid dissemination of Internet access points, the digitalization of media, and media convergence.
