Education & Research Department
The Education Department provides training and educational services to TWU local unions. Working with International staff, local union officers, and local union education committees, the department designs programs tailored to the needs of local unions. Using a variety of techniques, the Research Department provides immediate data to bolster negotiators' case at the bargaining table, as well as economic and financial analyses of broader issues (such as Federal funding of mass transit) which have a profound impact on members' jobs and paychecks.
