Welcome to the web site of TWU's Transit, Utility, University and Services Division. In our Division we service 44 different local Unions representing a wide variety of job Titles.

There are far more similarities than differences among workers in various locals in this Division. We represent school bus drivers throughout the country as well as City Transit Drivers and Mechanics from New York to San Francisco. Along with the College Campus Workers at Columbia and Barnard and Utility Workers at KeySpan, we also represent Workers at the New York-New Jersey Port Authority and at municipalities in South Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Our TWU Locals are autonomous and operate freely under their Local-bylaws and the International Constitution. Our Local unions are responsible for delivery of all membership services within its jurisdiction. Our International President appoints a division director who, along with a staff of International Representatives, assists local Unions in Contract Negotiations and other activities when needed. Our International Transit Staff works diligently in all of these areas to provide the best service possible to our Locals.
