The Transport Workers Union of America (TWU) supports the Allied Pilots Association (APA) in their fight to fix American Airlines and will stand in solidarity with them on the picket line on Wall Street today.
The TWU represents 65,000 workers across the aviation industry.
“We’re all sick and tired of the games American Airlines has been playing with its workers of all crafts. Passengers deserve reliable schedules and workers deserve a stable environment to work in,” said TWU International President John Samuelsen. “The airline is underperforming and is poorly rated by passengers, all due to incompetent management. The time is now to rectify this horrendous situation. We support the APA in all their efforts.”
