The TWU JetBlue/IFC Negotiating Team (NT) has been deep in talks with JetBlue Leadership, fighting to secure a strong, foundational contract that Inflight Crewmembers can be proud of and feel respected by. We heard you loud and clear—we need company accountability, a pay raise, and a legally binding contract that prevents the Company from implementing arbitrary, unilateral, and abusive changes to our work rules—and we’re proud to announce that we have reached a Tentative Agreement (TA2) that covers these goals.

Your NT has been laser-focused on building fairness and safety into our proposed contract by:
- Closing loopholes that benefit the Company and not IFCs;
- Securing stronger protections that prevent outsourcing of our work; and
- Building a pathway for handling grievances and disputes with the Company that gives IFCs recourse.
We’re proud to say that we’ve reached a Tentative Agreement that achieves all of this and more.
Over the coming weeks, members of the NT and the TWU Ambassador Program (TAP) will be breaking down all the details in TA2 and hosting virtual town halls with Q+A sessions. You can also join us for one of our Union Tuesday Mixers tomorrow, November 9, from 1700-2000, local time. Be sure to look out for more to come ahead of the start of voting on December 6, 2021.
